The dairy department wan not only ahead of other years, but far excelled wlint might have boon expected. Tlio sampler of butter could not have been ex celled by orsamory butter, and the judgou must have had a difficult task in award ing the prizea. Tho exhibit of homo-made bread, buntj, canned fruit, jellies, spicon, etc., was enough to make- one's mouth water, and showed what great attention ifi boatowod upon tho culinary art by the ladies of Morse*.
