COSTIN, Donald Richard Donald Richard Costin, 67 yrs., passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness on Fri. Mar. 23, 2007 at Leamington District Memorial Hospital. Beloved husband of Carolyn (nee Laramie) for 46 yrs. Loving father of Donald and Michael both of Essex. Proud grandfather of Jessica, Donnie and Brandon. Survived by his brother Clifford of Essex. grandfather Don's Richard "Dick" and his father and mother Don and Anna bought the Grand Central Tavern in 1947. Through the years and many changes in Essex the family has always maintained and operated "The Grand". In recent years Don, along with his wife and sons, have been proud to serve the many families and friends that come to the Grand. Don was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Br. #201, Essex, member of Central Lodge #402 AF & AM, the York Right, as well as a longtime member and supporter of The Mocha Shrine.
