The next task being undertaken is a float in the Essex Santa Claus Parade on Nov. 25, the theme being "Christmas In Candy Cane Lane". Donations of old white sheets (non-returnable); old rags; tin foil; brown craft paper; red, white and green poster paints; paint brushes of all sizes; white spray paint; fishing line; wide plastic red ribbon; old tree ornaments; tinsel, etc. and 2000 small candy canes in cellophane wrappers and lots and lots of help, all greatly needed and appreciated. Please keep Marcy and Carl Mackenzie Rutherford who are in hospital, in your thoughts and prayers and all others who are under the weather. A call or card would be greatly appreciated. The congregation extends its deepest sympathy to Hannah Flood on the death of her son Wesley. Parishioners are invited to join the Mission Group of St. Mary's on Oct. 22 for Apple Crisp Sunday. Thanks to Elaine Simard's donation of pumpkins, there will be pumpkin decorating for children of all ages. Please remember to bring mittens for the missions. Tuesday euchre continues at the Centre at 1 p.m. and beginning Nov. 3 there will be progressive euchre starting at 7:30 p.m. There will also be a men's euchre tournament at St. Mary's hall on Sat.
