Wednesday, October 11, 2006 · Page 23 On Sept. 29, Anita and Don Leschied and The Friends of Woodslee hosted a first ever barn dance/pig roast/potluck/ silent and live auction plus Celtic band music and hayride at the Leschied's farm called A Little Bit Of Heaven in Woodslee. It was a huge success and well attended, bringing together many families and canvassing politicians. The assumption that it should become an annual event prevails and the proceeds will be forwarded to The Friends of Woodslee to continue community projects. We congratulate and thank the Leschied's for opening up their country home and property for this event. The Friends of oodslee are very appreiative. We would also like to hank Tina Bendig and the ive auctioneer, Marty nholzer along with his rother Larry for doing uch an entertaining and ively job.
