Wednesday, September 6, 2006 · Page 8 Harrow Fair CONTINUED FROM PAGE 1 Good entertainment is what Anger considered to be a major draw for patrons this year. Singer-songwriter Michelle Wright graced the stage Friday night and country-styled singer George Fox followed the next night. Still, the staples of the annual event are what keep drawing people in year after year, Anger said. The 4-H Club held their "achievement day" by showcasing swine, beef, poultry, cattle and sheep. While competitions such as the roostercrowing contest, the pie-eating contest and the momcalling contest encouraged patrons to get involved. The parade on Saturday drew thick crowds along the streets of Harrow, with numerous floats travelling along and parade participants marching and waving to the sounds of the Kingsville-Essex Associated Band and the Johnny Brunetto Jazz Quartet.
