Fill the Barn Mission Project is quickly coming to Weather in our area on Monday is milder but we still have signs of snow that arrived in time for Easter. What is this? No snow for Christmas but for Easter. I think this is an April Fool trick on all of us. The news on Easter evening was that it was colder for Easter than for Christmas. Happy birthday wishes to Blair Cosgrove who is celebrating #7 on Fri. Apr. 13; on Sunday to Francis Roelens who is celebrating the big 6-0; on Monday to my great granddaughter Mackenzie as she celebrates #2 already and to Brenna Heil as she celebrates #7 on Tuesday; on Thursday next week to Joyce Ebbinghaus, Barb Chambers and Don Webb who all share the day for celebrations. Happy anniversary to Jeff and Karry Ferguson as they celebrate their third. The Pleasant Valley Community Club held a Pepper party last Tuesday and the winners were Helen Slavik, Don Ames, Charles Chevalier, Eileen Ames, Keith Dresser and Anna Simpson. Come join in on Tuesday for a 7:30 p.m. start with friends and neighbours. The regular card party winners on Saturday were Cecile St. Denis, John Smith, Mary Demars, Chauncey Malott, Josie Dresser, Keith Dresser and Elsie Smith.
