Description
In an empty lot near some factory housing, one woman lies sleeping or resting, while a second woman sits with another woman’s head cradled in her lap, apparently gently inspecting it for lice. The women are most likely from the countryside, and are now homeless. The woman being inspected has a look of pain or distress on her face. On the other side of the wooden fence nearby are two sets of railroad tracks and a factory is visible in the distance.
