of all Canadian farmers last year Below average wheat harvest In Europe Argentina and Australia rapidly changed this picture with greatly increased exports from Canada However the future of our wheat exports Is still somewhat depending upon the growing conditions in these other countries The damage to the 1970 com crop in the US has resulted in considerably higher grain corn prices The prospects for Increasing exports of Canadian feed grains particularly barley are promising Poultry produce up Increased production of poultry meat and eggs is expected to continue for most of Broiler production in Canada rose to a record level again this past year with the outlook not too favorable Returns to producers on eggs was approximately per dozen lower in than the previous year except for the latter part when the spread In price widened Outlooks are for five to 10 per cent increase In egg production In Canada in Dairy optimistic There are reasons to be optimistic about the dairy outlook Milk
