On the first day of January, 1820, pre¬ miums will be adjudged on the follow¬ ing articles, if exhibited on that day, viz : For a rnm«ve of the produce of the best field of Potatoes : the best fattened Oxen and Hogs; best home made Wool¬ en and Linen Chth, and Woolen Socks, and best Flax Seed ; according to the ^cale of premiums established by the Ex¬ ecutive Committee the 28th July, 1819. Claimants for premiums on Potatoes will find it necessary to be very particu¬ lar in measuring the ground on w hich the Potatoes grow, and ascertaining the ex¬ act quantity (beyond doubt) in oidcr *hat the statements* made relative there¬ to, may be verified upon the oath oi oaths of credible persons, to the satisfac¬ tion of the Committee. Competitors for premiums will give no- <ice to the Secretary of the Society, pre¬ vious to the days of exhibition, of the ar¬ ticle or articles they intend to exhibit, in order that the necessary preparations nay be made. The members of the Society are re- under ten, two thirds. A Book will be kept for entering- the nam the births which they may choose, at which time the passage money must be paid.
