Mom would have been amazed at all the people who came and shared their special memories of her. She really was a special lady. Thank you for all your prayers for Mom during her illness. A lovely thank you to Jason and his fiancé Becky for the dinner on Saturday. Also a loving thank you to Joel and his fiancé Shelley for the dinner on Sunday. Your thoughtfulness and generosity were a credit to Mom. She loved you all very much. Thank you to the Boylan Family, the Woodslee Rebecca Lodge, the Kaiser Family and Tina McTavish for the flowers and baskets of plant arrangements. Your thoughtfulness was much appreciated. A very special thank you to Lisa Pereira, Tina Bendig and Sharron Youngson for the delicious gift of food sent to us after the funeral. Your generosity will be remembered for a long time to come. Thank you so much to Rev. Rodger Jackson for his beautiful eulogy of Mom. It was truly the essence of Mom. Thank you to the Reid Funeral Home for all your help and compassion. It made a difficult time a little easier. A very special thank you to Rose O'Neil and Roni Pinkney for the surprise gift they gave to Karen, Kathy, Judy and Helen on Sunday, March 4th. It will be treasured by all of us. A big thank you to all the people who made donations in memory of Mom. It was much appreciated. Thank you once again to the Nurses and Staff on the 2nd Floor of the Country Village Health Care Centre. Your compassionate care and loving devotion made all the difference to Mom's final days. You are all a credit to your profession. Thank you again to everyone who came or sent cards of sympathy. Your kindness during this time of sorrow will never be forgotten. Erin Jones of London spent the weekend with her parents Steve and Kim. Elder Richard Harrington was the founder of Brooker Baptist church in the early 1860's. He walked or rode horse back from Kingsville and held services in William Brooker's home. A log church was built on the corner of the 9th Concession and the Belle River Road which was used as a chapel and a day school when a teacher was available. In 1876 it was organized as a Regular Baptist Church. A new church was erected on the present site and has stood the test of time. We will be celeour 131st brating Anniversary on March 25 with a former pastor Rev. Cliff Rummenie of Midland as guest speaker. We invite you to come and join with us in this joyous occasion.
