Feb. 16 at 7:30 p.m. On Fri. Feb. 9 at the Millen Centre the Woodslee Friendship Club held the monthly potluck supper and the door prize Valentine chocolates was won by Bill Roubos. We had a special momento for many original members thanking them for their supportive team spirit over the years since 1983. We value this Club in our area and promote the continuance of weekly card games and a monthly potluck supper. A quilt, which was stitched with loving fingers in 1989 by the Quilters Club, was on display as well as many "Over the Years" pictures of their many events. This quilt was on display at the International Plowing Match held in September 1989 at Maidstone Township. We are seeking more pictures so if anyone is out there with some in your album could we scan these for our ongoing history project. We enjoyed an old fashioned sing song accompanied by our talented pianist Diana Dennis. We concluded our evening with Pepper and euchre games. Next month on Fri. Mar. 9 please join our monthly potluck, sing song and card playing at 5:30 p.m. at The Millen Centre. Foot Care Clinic Essex Community Services offers a Foot Care Clinic. It was established in 1991 to provide foot care for those 55 and over and others that are unable to care for their own feet. The clinic is staffed by specially trained Registered Nurses, who provide comprehensive foot care to clients. The Clinic operates every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and selected Mondays, and Fridays.
