Despite a tentative start to Game One, which pitted Fury against Erin #4, Acton was first on the board with a resounding goal by Dayne ?Virus? Black. Assists went to Phillip ?The Con? Conlin and Jacob ?Hawkeye? Dougan. Period two also produced a picture-perfect goal for Centreman Travis ?TJ? Brown, who potted one over a surprised goalie, with assists from Cameron ?CoDog? Coady and Alex ?Ice Dawg? Barry. The third period belonged to the faster-skating Acton team with Mark Weber?s deck-clear- ing goal (TJ Brown assisted) followed by Dougan?s two goals, assisted by Mackenzie ?Crash? There was some trepidation at the onset of the championship game, as we watched a strong Erin #2 team trounce all previ- ous opposition. Acton?s Liam Robertson tied it up with an unassisted goal.
