Cherished grandfather to Graeme, Katie and Cassie. Also survived by a sister Winifred in England. Roy was a life long servant of God pastoring in England, Delhi and Essex, Ontario. Cherished and respected grandfather of 36 grandchildren, 65 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Survived by sister-in-law Florence Martin. Many nieces and nephews also survive. Predeceased by sisters and brothers Clarice Hebert and late husband Euclid, Ernie Martin, Theresa Puleo and late husband Sam, Philip Martin and late wife Lucille, Bertha Williams and late husband Roy. Joseph farmed for many years in the McGregor area and was a member of the Holy Name Society. He was devoted to his family and was lovingly called "Pip" by his grandchildren. "A farmer all his life...He never became rich, but he had a rich life." Funeral mass to celebrate Joseph's life was held on Tues. Aug. 15 at St. Clement Church in McGregor with Fr. Mike Michon officiating. Interment St. Clement Cemetery in McGregor. Arrangements entrusted with the Reid Funeral Home in Essex.
