p.3 The ice before the town was broken up on Saturday last by a strong North East wind. - Several vessels from the United States with full cargoes have already taken advantage of this circumstance, as will be observed in our list of arrivals. The flour brought over, we are informed, is bonded under the regulations of the late act of Parliament, for exportation from the Province. The Steam Boat Sophia, built last year at Sackett's Harbor, and intended to ply as a passage boat between that village and Kingston, is a fine commodious vessel, and will prove useful in facilitating the intercourse between the opposite shores.

Died - At Belleville, Bay of Quinte, U.C., on the 12th April instant, William King, a Shipwright, reported to be brother-in-law to John Goudie, Ship Builder at Quebec....

April 19th - American schooner Olive Branch, Indian Bond, master, from Sodus. Cargo a quantity of pork, flour and potash.

20th - Schooner Commodore Perry, James S. White, master, from S. Harbor, cargo potatoes.

21st - Schooner Union, John Eno, master, from Oswego, cargo pork and flour.

Schr. Triumph, Sam'l Cook, master, from S. Harbor, cargo cheese.

22nd - Schr. Farmer's Daughter Z. Sherwood, master, from Oswego, cargo flour and pork.

  Schr. Niagara, Geo. Miles, master from Oswego, cargo pork and potash

American Steam Boat Sophia, Wm. Vaughan master, passengers and baggage.
