p.3 arrival of passengers in Frontenac from York, leave next day for Prescott in Frontenac.
Information has reached us, that the Frontenac, on her return from Prescott, on Friday last, 40 miles below Kingston, unfortunately ran upon a rock, and that all efforts to get her off, have as yet, proved ineffectual.
We are informed that the Packet Sch. Farmer's Daughter, Capt. Ingalls, which sails between Kingston and Sacketsharbor, was capsized in a squall, on Thursday morning last, off Bull Rock Point, about 3 or 4 miles this side of Sacketsharbor. Although there were a number of passengers on board, we are happy to state that no lives were lost. She has since been towed into the Harbor.
