p.1 Fort George being cannonaded by enemy Battery Ships.

- account of battle between British Gunboats and the enemies' armed vessels Growler and Eagle from Lake Champlain, resulting in the capture of these two vessels.

p.3 Arrived on Thursday Evening, the 3d instant, from Sacket's Harbor, with a flag of truce, the American Schooner Lady-of-the-Lake, bringing the Ladies of Major Dennis and Mr. Pay Master Brock, of the 49th Regiment, who were politely accommodated with a passage from Fort George in the Madison, by Commodore Chauncey. - Captain Blackmore, of the 8th or King's Regiment, who was left wounded at Sacket's Harbor, also arrived in the Lady-of-the-Lake.

Communication

Captain Isaac Swazy, having reported in Kingston, that I had gone off with the enemy, and that Capt. George Playter had informed him of it - I have given the Editor the underwritten Certificate, (being a true copy from Capt. Playter to me) as necessary to undeceive those who believed the assertion.

"Whereas it is reported, I, the subscriber, have said that Mr. John Dennis, Shipwright, had joined the Americans, I solemnly declare, I have never signified the least hint of any such word. - Witness my hand at York, May 18th, 1813.

Sealed Proposals for building a Naval Hospital on Point Frederick, to contain One Hundred Men, will be received at the Commissioner's Office till Sunday the 13th inst.   June 8th

Wanted for the Use of His Majesty's Navy - 1000 Cords of Fuel, for which Proposals.will be received by the 15th June, at the Commissioner's Office at the Dock Yard, Kingston.  June 8th
