p.3 Many unfortunate reports are in circulation respecting the late expedition against the American Brig at Sackets Harbor; one says he would do this thing and another that thing. It is very easy for a person to sit in their chimney corner, and tell what they would do; but put them to the test, and there is not one man out of fifty that could perform half of their imaginary exploits. - We must therefore caution the public against giving credit to these vague reports, which they will find in the end not to have the least foundation. For we are confidently assured, that not the least censure ought to be attached to any individual whatever on board his Majesty's fleet.

We understand that all boats, rafts, etc. detained on the American side, have been permitted to proceed.
