Take advantage of Scouting Week, which takes place from February 18 to 25, to visit a scout pack in your area. If you are seven or eight years old, the Beaver program is right for you! The Beaver program offers these younger scouts an opportunity to enjoy unique and enriching experiences. Come and play games, do crafts, enjoy playacting and storytelling, and learn about nature. Through these lively activities, you will develop your physical, intellectual, and social skills. If you are between nine and eleven years old, the Cubs are right for you! Girls and boys get together once a week and may participate in camping activities. Inspired by Rudyard Kipling's Jungle Book and the adventures of Mowgli, Cubs participate in activities that encourage their physical, intellectual, emotional, social, and spiritual development. If you are between twelve and fourteen years old, the Scouts are waiting for you. Scout activities aim to instill a sense of honour, self-confidence, concern for others, and service. Two camps are offered to Scouts where they learn to become more autonomous and responsible. Their motto is: "Be Prepared". And for those of you who are between fifteen and seventeen years old, the Venturers will offer you a variety of activities, from sports to community service, and an opportunity to participate in jamborees and trips. The single theme for all events and activities for the 21st World Scout Jamboree and the Centenary of Scouting celebrations is: "2007: One World One Promise".
