The Essex Region Conservation Authority will partner with Walkers and Runners Around the County of Essex to host this five-kilometre walk or run on Sunday, August 20 at 9 a.m. Funds raised will be used to support habitat restoration and improve visitor facilities at the park. Registration is $15 per person. WRACE members are entitled to a $2 discount. "This event is a great opportunity to encourage people to visit Holiday Beach Conservation Area," says Kevin Money, coordinator of conservation areas. "In addition to promoting healthy and active living, this event is a way to showcase one of the region's premier parks."
