His Excellency the Lieut. Governor has been pleased to appoint Alexander McMillan, Esq. to be Collector of Customs at Prescott on the River St. Lawrence.

Mr. Roderick McKay - to be do. do. at Ernest Town in the Bay of Quinty.

Mr. James Richardson, Jun. to be do. do. at Newcastle (Presque-Isle) vice Alexander Clark, resigned.

Mr. John Wilson, to be do. do. at Amherstburg.

And David Mitchell, Esq. to be do. do. at Drummond Island, Lake Huron.

Arrived - On Saturday evening last, the United States Schooner Lady of the Lake, with a number of passengers ...The Lady sailed again yesterday morning.

Boat Liberty, McNitt, from Sandy Creek, 4,500 bushels coals.

28th - Schr. Mary Ann, Mosier, from Prescott, in ballast.

Schr. Eliza, Hartford, from Newcastle, 180 bbls. flour.

Steam Boat Frontenac, McKenzie, from York, merchandize and passengers.

Boat Driver, Smith, from the Bay of Quinte, 150 bbls. flour and baggage.
