NOTICE
Is hereby given that sealed Tenders will be received at the Naval Storekeeper's Office on the 31st January next, for the Transport of Stores from Lachine to Kingston during the Navigation of 1817 - to mention the rate per Ton.
Naval Yard, 4th December, 1816.
p.3 The weather, in this place, continues very remarkable, we have not had over two or three inches of Snow, which was about the 10th of December; since that time the ground has been entirely bare, and the atmosphere is more like that of May than January; on Wednesday, the 1st inst., a small vessel arrived from Sandy Creek, with Hay, etc. and on Thursday morning two vessels left this port.
