p.2 We understand that part of the new Frigate has arrived at the Navy Yard from the Lower Province - The remainder is hourly expected.

p.3 Lieut. General Drummond congratulates the army on the brilliant achievement executed last night by Capt. Dobbs of the Royal Navy and a party of Seamen and Marines, who in the most gallant style, boarded and after a short struggle, carried two of the enemy's armed Schooners, anchored close to Fort Erie. - Accident alone prevented the capture of the third schooner; those captured are the Somers and Porcupine; the former mounts two long 12 pounders; the latter one 12..... Lieut. Radcliffe Commander of his Majesty's schooner Netley, has fallen on this occasion, he was killed in the act of boarding...

Extracts from a Despatch from Lieut. Colonel McDougall Commanding at Michilimackinac "... On the morning of that day (4th inst.) the Enemy's Squadron consisting of two ships, four schooners and several Gun Boats under Commodore Sinclair, which had been off the Island for some days took a position close in shore. The two large Vessels the Niagara and St. Lawrence of 20 guns anchoring with Springs on their Cables ... (description of action on land) ... The enemies' squadron immediately made all sail down the Lake...
