p.2 Married - Alexander Thomas Dobbs, Esq. Commander in H.M. Royal Navy, to Miss Mary Cartwright, only daughter of the Hon. Richard Cartwright.

p.3 Sackets Harbour Jan. 13th - extracts from a letter - attack expected from Kingston - "our fleet is moored to the best advantage, but at the best they can only operate as batteries."

Another letter states, that Mr. Eckford was there and had about 400 ship carpenters at work;...Commodore Chauncey is proceeding from Washington to Sacket's Harbour.
