Take an interest, because it is your money and your children thet we are talking aout. Yours very truly, 7) ; David W. McLaughlin Dear Sir: It was my privilege to be nom- inated for the School Board, and as a resident of Haileybury I want |to share the responsibility that the Board has to the schools and people '|of our community. Everyone should be concerned how-and how well their children are being educated.. Over half of our tax dollar is used for education . do you know how it is spent? We never hear from the school board until their financial state- ment is published. If I am elected, I would like to see more co-operation between the council and school board in this matter. Our present school board has done a-reasonable job .... but could not another do more? Have we had 'the same board too long? I feel that the Board should re- present all the people, not only the taxpayer, but the parents as well. It is up to the voter to elect a re- presentative who will help the par- - - who will keep us informed . . . to give the child the most for your tax dollar. I solicit your support on voting day. cr °° Bud Brooks: Wigas _ are ig YOu. hs. Tar ALOU BIC UNIS Cat Wes Exciting Crime Drama: IN TECHNICOLOR Richard. Widmark, Fina Louise, Lee J.
