at park the Editor I have been a citizen of this town now for three years and have been concerned about the problem of charging fee for entrance to Fairy Lake Park but I felt being a newcomer I should remain silent I feel It is pay also This charge for admittance only discourages them more from going to the park thereby not leaving tourist money in the town to better the town itself So I feel that Fairy Lake Park should be more for the people and not merely Just for the profit We should do more to encourage people to visit our town not chase them away With the charge people carry their picnic supplies anyway avoiding the man at the gate I feel If the park were left open it would attract more visitors to our town and park rather than being empty every weekend Perhaps there will be those who will disagree and those who agree Since we pay taxes to help support the park maybe something constructive can be done about this issue This letter has not been written to offend anyone only to state
